Biography

Heather Doi maintains a broad civil litigation practice with a focus on corporate-commercial litigation, as well as regulatory and administrative law.

Heather received her JD from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2015. As a law student she received several advocacy prizes including the McLachlin Prize, awarded to the best female mooter, and the Peter Cory Prize for best factum at the Gale Cup Moot, a national advocacy competition.

Heather first developed an interest in using the law to creatively resolve disputes while working at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, first through the Legislative Internship Program and later as a caucus research officer. Following law school, Heather went on to article at a leading national law firm. Most recently, she comes to McEwan Partners having clerked for six justices of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, including Chief Justice Hinkson.

Heather is a volunteer with the Justice Education Society and contributes to their student curriculum.
